    • Subject Profile Info: Information you provide about yourself or your child (e.g., name, sport, jersey number, team name) so our system can accurately match you with the right photos.
    • Payment Information: When you make a purchase, your payment details are handled securely by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number.
  • Photo Data and Biometric Information:
    • Photographers upload event photos to our platform.
    • To make finding your photos easier, we use facial recognition technology to match you with photos you’re in. This process involves creating a unique biometric identifier (a digital template of facial features) from photos you or a photographer have uploaded.
    • We will only use facial recognition for individuals you have explicitly opted in. You must provide your clear and informed consent before we use this technology on you or your child.
    • This data is used exclusively to match and deliver your photos. It is never sold, shared with third parties for marketing purposes, or used for any other commercial purpose.
    • We will permanently delete your biometric data within one year of your account being inactive or upon your request.
  • Location Data:
    • We may collect event location data and your IP-based location to help you find relevant photo galleries. We do not use this data to track your real-time movements.
  • Device & Usage Info:
    • We automatically collect basic analytics, such as your device type, operating system, app version, and crash logs, to improve the performance and reliability of our app.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data for the following purposes:

  • To create, manage, and secure your account.
  • To identify and deliver photos to you based on your profile information.
  • To process payments securely.
  • To notify you when photos from an event are available.
  • To improve the ARND platform and user experience.

3. How We Share Information

We do NOT sell your personal data to anyone. We only share your information with the following third parties under strict confidentiality and security agreements:

  • Photographers: We share your selected profile information (e.g., jersey number) to help them effectively tag and upload photos.
  • Payment Processors: We share payment information with secure services like Stripe to process your transactions.
  • Service Providers: We use third-party services for essential functions like cloud storage , email notifications, and app analytics. These providers are only authorized to use your information to perform these services on our behalf.

4. Children’s Privacy and Parental Consent (COPPA)

ARND is designed for use by parents and legal guardians. We take child safety and privacy very seriously and comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

  • Age Verification: Our service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.
  • Parental Consent for Children’s Profiles: If you create a profile for your child under 13, you must be their parent or legal guardian. By creating this profile, you provide us with verifiable consent to collect and use your child’s information (name, jersey number, and biometric data for photo matching) for the sole purpose of providing our service.

You have full control over your information:

  • Access & Update: You can update your profile information in the app settings at any time.
  • Data Deletion: You can request to download or permanently delete all your data, including any biometric information. To do so, please contact us at support@arnd.io.

If you are a resident of California, Virginia, or other states with similar privacy laws, you have specific rights concerning your personal information. These may include the right to:
